According to data from Spanish notaries, the number of foreigners buying and property in the Balearic Islands has soared to 81.5%, the highest increase in Spain.
11% of all buyers were British and prices have soared in various regions of the Balearics with annual increases as high as 15%, especially in the South West coastal areas of Calvia and Andratx.
