This week Santa Ponsa Golf I hosts the last leg of the Spanish section of the prestige PGA European golf tour.
The European Tour returns to Mallorca after a ten-year break. Running from 21st to 24th October 2021, the tournament has a total prize fund of 1m€
Seve Ballesteros won the Balearic Open title in 1988 on a previous PGA tournament as well as with Miguel Ángel Jiménez winning in the 1998.
Wilco Nienaber, who regularly hits more than 323 yards off the tee along with top European and World-class players such as Martin Kaymer, Thomas Pieters, a four-time winner on the European Tour, Gonzalo Fdéz-Castaño, Alvaro Quiros, each with seven European Tour victories; Nacho Elvira, recent winner of the 2021 Cazoo Open; and Adri Arnaus will be taking part. Jamie Donaldson, Victor Dubuisson, David Howell, Thorbjørn Olesen and Peter Hansen, will also be appearing.
