Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez landed in Mallorca on 30 July aboard a private jet, arriving without their younger children but with Ronaldo's eldest son, 16-year-old Cristiano Jr. — now taller than his father, and a regular training partner. At the private terminal, Ronaldo stopped to sign a shirt and pose for photos with a young fan, reportedly instructing his own security team not to rush the moment. From the airport, the couple went straight to a yacht waiting at a nearby marina.
The visit came days after Portuguese media circulated an invitation suggesting the couple would marry on 1 August at Quinta da Regaleira in Sintra, Portugal — a claim the family has since denied. Ronaldo and Georgina, together eleven years and parents to five children, remain engaged rather than married for now. Rod Stewart Returns to Puerto Portals
A few days earlier, on 25 July, 81-year-old Rod Stewart was spotted cruising Mallorca's southwest coast aboard a yacht anchored off Puerto Portals, travelling with his wife and a small group of friends. The group came ashore to walk the marina's boulevard and browse its boutiques before returning to the boat for lunch — a low-key visit for an artist who has sold over 250 million records and written some of pop's most enduring hits, from Maggie May to Sailing.
It wasn't Stewart's first time on that same stretch of pontoon. He was last photographed walking Puerto Portals on 11 September 2001 — the day of the September 11 attacks in New York — a detail that gives this year's far quieter visit an odd resonance for anyone who remembers it.
Hollywood Anchors Off Deià
The most striking gathering of the week formed off Sa Foradada, the dramatic rock formation on the coast near Deià, where four superyachts anchored within sight of each other created what's now being called "Billionaire Bay." Jennifer Aniston, her former Friends co-star Courteney Cox, and actor Pedro Pascal have been holidaying together aboard Rising Sun, the 138-metre yacht owned by American billionaire David Geffen — one of the largest and most storied private vessels in the Mediterranean.
Anchored alongside Rising Sun were three more significant yachts: Limitless, a 96-metre Lürssen delivered in 1997 and linked to Les Wexner, founder of the retail group behind Victoria's Secret; Lind, a 52.3-metre Amels built for long-distance cruising with a 4,500-nautical-mile range; and Moka, a 42-metre Sanlorenzo explorer yacht. Together, against the backdrop of the Tramuntana cliffs, the four vessels created one of the more visually striking concentrations of wealth the island has seen this season.
