The Champions Burger Mallorca 2026 Is at Son Moix from 20 June

If you were anywhere near Santa Ponsa last summer during The Champions Burger, you'll remember it. The queues, the smell, the noise — a genuine occasion. This year the event has moved to a bigger stage: Estadi Mallorca Son Moix in Palma, and it runs from 20 June to 5 July 2026. Entry is free.

The Champions Burger is Spain's most prominent touring artisan burger championship. Each city edition brings together the country's most talked-about independent burger makers, puts them in one place, and lets the public decide which they prefer. Mallorca has been one of the most popular stops on the tour — last year's edition in Santa Ponsa drew significant crowds — and this 2026 edition has been upgraded accordingly.

What Is the All Star Edition?

This year's Mallorca event carries the subtitle All Star, which changes how the format works. Rather than inviting new participants and running a public vote, the All Star concept brings back the best-performing burger makers from the previous year's circuit. These are the places that won over judges and public alike at earlier stops in the tour — so the quality floor is already high before anyone takes a bite.

The menu details are confirmed closer to opening — each participating team tends to reveal their Mallorca-specific creation in the days before the event opens. What is confirmed is the range: classic beef burgers, vegetarian options, gluten-free adaptations, starters, sauces, and desserts. The Champions Cheesecake is also running as a collaboration alongside the main event, so there is more than one reason to save room.

There is no public voting at an All Star edition. The format is purely about access — a concentrated window to eat at a collection of Spain's best independent burger operations without travelling to five different cities.

Dates, Hours and Location

The event runs daily from 20 June to 5 July 2026. Opening night is Saturday 20 June, doors from 19:00. From Sunday 21 June onwards the hours are 12:00 to 00:00 every day without exception, including weekdays. Son Moix is a closed stadium site, so the event is contained and organised — no wandering across an open field looking for your order.

Estadi Mallorca Son Moix is on the western edge of Palma, roughly 15 minutes by car from Santa Ponsa and easily reached on public transport. Bus lines 6, 8, 9, 36, and the night line N2 all stop nearby. The closest stop for most of those lines is around a 5–7 minute walk from the stadium entrance. Parking is available in the surrounding area.

Practical Details Before You Go

Entry is completely free. You pay for food and drink once inside, but there is no ticket, no wristband to buy in advance, and no registration required. Just turn up.

Payment is cashless. Cards and contactless are accepted directly. If you only have cash, there is a black bus at the venue entrance where you can exchange it for a prepaid card (€1 deposit, refundable at the event). Unused credit on the card can also be refunded at the same point during the event period. Once the event closes, unused card balances are forfeited — so plan accordingly.

No dogs or pets are permitted on site. The stadium is a closed venue and the organisers are clear on this. Service dogs are the only exception.

Uber Eats discount: new Uber Eats users can apply a first-order discount by ordering through the app from inside the venue. The code appears on the event menu card. This applies only to new users ordering on-site; it does not work for returning users or off-site orders.

Why Son Moix and Not Santa Ponsa?

Last year's Santa Ponsa edition was one of the best-attended Champions Burger events on the whole Mallorca circuit. That popularity is, in part, why the venue has been upgraded for 2026. Son Moix holds significantly more people than a temporary outdoor site, which means shorter waits, more participant space, and a more comfortable overall experience when it gets busy — which, based on last year, it will.

For residents of Santa Ponsa and southwest Mallorca, Son Moix is still an easy run — 15 minutes on a clear evening, less than 30 minutes even at peak summer traffic. It is worth the drive.

Southwest Mallorca and the Summer Calendar

The Champions Burger sits neatly in a packed June and July calendar for the island. This summer also sees the Mallorca Championships tennis at Santa Ponça Club de Tenis (18–28 June), which means the southwest is particularly active in the same fortnight as the burger festival's opening week. Anyone spending time between Santa Ponsa and Palma in late June has two very different events worth planning around.

For those living in or visiting southwest Mallorca, Son Moix is a familiar address — Real Club Deportivo Mallorca plays there, so the approach roads and transport links are well established. The event is a straightforward evening out from anywhere on the Calvià coast.
