Palmanova sits on the Bay of Palma between Portals Nous and Magaluf, with three sandy beaches joined by a seafront promenade. It was one of Mallorca's first planned resorts, laid out in the 1930s, and has grown into a lively town with shops, restaurants and services that stay open all year.
It is busy in summer and much calmer the rest of the year, and it suits buyers who want a beach on the doorstep with Palma close by. We have worked this stretch of coast since 1985, and our Portals Nous office is a few minutes away.
Most homes here are apartments, many with sea views and some right on the seafront, alongside townhouses and villas on the hillsides behind the town. It suits holiday homes, lock-up-and-leave buyers and families who want the beach and Palma within easy reach.

Palmanova is on the Bay of Palma in the municipality of Calvià, between Portals Nous and Magaluf, about 15 km west of Palma.

It is busiest from May to October. Shops, restaurants and services stay open through the winter, when the town is much calmer.
