El Toro is a clifftop village on the headland south of Santa Ponsa, with Port Adriano at its foot. The marina, redesigned by Philippe Starck, brings restaurants, shops and a summer music programme, and the coast beyond it is a protected marine reserve around the Malgrats islands and the islet of El Toro.
It is a small place, and a street here can differ a great deal from the next in outlook, noise and sun. We have sold and let homes in El Toro since 1985 from our office five minutes away, and that close knowledge is what a pocket like this needs.
The mix is wider than in most neighbouring areas. There are frontline villas on the cliffs with open sea views, family houses and townhouses in the streets behind, and apartments close to the marina. It suits people who want to live and work here all year, with Santa Ponsa's schools, shops and golf a few minutes away.
