Calvià village is the old inland heart of the municipality, a few kilometres from the coast at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana. Stone houses line narrow streets below the parish church of Sant Joan Baptista, and the valley around it is farmland, almond groves and pine-covered hills. Locally it is known as Calvià Poble.
It is a traditional Mallorcan village with a year-round community, its own school, shops and bars, and summer fiestas that fill the square. We have worked across the municipality since 1985, and this is where we send buyers who want more land, more privacy and a slower pace within ten minutes of the beach.
In the village itself the market is stone townhouses, some renovated and some waiting for it. Around it are fincas and country houses on larger plots, and the hillside area of Son Font has rural villas with long views to the sea. Compared with the coast, buyers generally get more space and more land for their budget.
