Living in Puerto Andratx
Puerto Andratx, or Port d'Andratx in Catalan, is a natural harbour at the western end of the south-west coast. It is still a working fishing port, with a yacht club and marina alongside, and a waterfront of restaurants and cafés. The hills around the bay hold some of the highest-specification homes in Spain.
It is one of the most international property markets on the island, and one we have followed since 1985. The harbour has kept its charm while the hillsides have filled with contemporary architecture, and knowing how each has developed helps buyers judge position and price.
