Paguera, also written Peguera, is a beach town between Santa Ponsa and Andratx with three sandy bays: Palmira, Torà and La Romana. Through traffic runs around the town, so the main boulevard is calm and easy to walk, lined with shops, cafés and restaurants. The pretty cove of Cala Fornells is at its western end.
It has a settled international community, including many German-speaking residents, and stays lively outside the summer months. We have sold and let homes along this coast since 1985, and Paguera is a consistent choice for buyers who want a beach within walking distance.
Apartments close to the beaches and the boulevard form the largest part of the market. On the hillsides behind the town, and around Cala Fornells, there are villas and terraced homes with sea views. Costa de la Calma, the quiet residential area between Paguera and Santa Ponsa, adds family villas and small apartment communities.

Both are used. Peguera is the official Catalan spelling, and Paguera is the form long used in English and German.
