Sant Elm is the most westerly village in Mallorca, at the end of the road beyond Andratx and S'Arracó. It faces the island of Sa Dragonera, a protected nature park reached by a short boat trip, and has two small beaches, a handful of restaurants on the water and walking trails into the hills, including the path to La Trapa.
There is nowhere to drive on to from here, and that keeps it quiet. It is the calmest corner of the coast we have covered since 1985, and it suits buyers who put sea, sunsets and walking ahead of shops and nightlife.
