Galilea is one of the smallest villages in the Serra de Tramuntana, set high on a hillside in the municipality of Puigpunyent. From the church square the view runs down the valley to the south-west coast and the sea. There are a couple of bars and restaurants, terraced hillsides and very little traffic.
It has long drawn artists and people looking for quiet. Homes rarely come to market, so patience and local contacts count. We have covered the villages behind the Calvià coast since 1985 and keep a close eye on Galilea for clients who are waiting for the right house.
Stock is limited to stone village houses, often on several levels with terraces facing the view, and fincas on the terraced land below and around the village. Many are bought as second homes or retreats. Access, parking and sun hours vary a lot from house to house and are worth checking in person.
