Raïm Wine Fest Palma 2026: 58 Mallorcan Wineries Under the Cathedral on 24 October
The Raïm Wine Fest Palma returns on Saturday 24 October, from midday until 1:00 the following morning, with 58 Mallorcan wineries pouring at Parc de la Mar and, for the first time, Ses Voltes. Entry is free, subject to capacity, and the official glass costs €5.
It is one of the easiest and most enjoyable ways to taste your way across the island in a single afternoon, with the cathedral as a backdrop and the bay just beyond the walls.
What Is the Raïm Wine Fest?
Raïm is the travelling festival of Vi de la Terra Mallorca, the protected geographical indication that covers wines made across the island. Each year it moves between towns to bring Mallorcan wine closer to residents and visitors, with local food and live music alongside the tastings.
The 2026 season opened in April in s'Arracó, in the municipality of Andratx, where more than 3,000 people came to taste wines from 12 wineries. It then moved to the Colònia de Sant Pere and Portocolom in July, and the October date in Palma is the biggest stop of the year.

The Palma Edition: What's New in 2026
This is the third Palma edition, and the first two drew thousands of people to Parc de la Mar. This year the festival grows in size: alongside Parc de la Mar, it takes over the Ses Voltes space beneath the walls in the Portella district, giving room for a broader programme.
Ses Voltes hosts the live cooking workshops, with sommeliers and chefs showing how Mallorcan wines pair with island food. There are also two music stages, guided tastings and activities for children, so families can make a day of it.
Palma City Council has once again declared the festival an activity of municipal public interest, and it has the support of the Balearic Government's agriculture department and the Consell de Mallorca.

Why Mallorcan Wine Is Worth Tasting
Mallorca has a long winemaking history, and the island's own grape varieties, such as Manto Negro, Callet and Prensal Blanc, give its wines a character you will not find anywhere else. With 58 producers in one place, Raïm is a rare chance to compare small family cellars with better-known names side by side, from light whites made for the beach to structured reds.
If you want to plan visits to the wineries themselves afterwards, our Mallorca wine guide covers the grape varieties and the island's wine routes in more detail.
An Autumn Day in Palma
Late October is one of the best times of year to be in Palma. The summer crowds have gone, the light is soft and the evenings are still mild enough to sit outside. Combine the festival with a walk along the old city walls, lunch in La Portella or Santa Catalina, or a sunset drink on the seafront.
For those of us who live in the southwest, Palma is a short drive away, which is one of the reasons Santa Ponsa, Bendinat and Portals Nous are so popular with buyers who want the beach on their doorstep and the city within easy reach.
More information on the festival is available from PalmaActiva, Palma City Council's economic development agency.
