RCD Mallorca Tickets: A Newcomer's Guide to Matchday at Son Moix
RCD Mallorca tickets for individual home games are sold through the club's official website, and season tickets open each summer. This season 20,686 people hold one, a club record for the second division, which tells you how much Son Moix means to the island.
If you have just moved to Mallorca, or you spend long stretches of the year here, a home game at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix is one of the quickest ways to feel part of the place. You will sit among families, pensioners, teenagers and supporters' club members who have followed the team through every division. This is our practical guide for newcomers.
Why This Season Is Special
RCD Mallorca, founded in 1916, spent five consecutive seasons in the top flight before dropping into LALIGA HYPERMOTION this year. In that spell the club finished in the top ten twice and reached a Copa del Rey final and the Spanish Super Cup. What happened next is the story: instead of drifting away, the fans signed up in record numbers.
The club's own figures for 2026/27 show 20,686 season ticket holders, 7,635 more than its previous best in the second division, which was 13,051 in 2013/14. It is the fourth consecutive season above 20,000 and the fourth-largest season-ticket base in the division.
Thinking about buying or selling in Mallorca?
Who Is in the Stands
The same report gives a snapshot of who you will be sitting with. One in three season ticket holders is aged 25 or under, 6,884 people in total. Women make up 22% of the base. There are 88 official supporters' clubs around the world, and the club recently highlighted a visit by the German-speaking supporters' group Dimonis Alemanys to the Los Amigos club in Cala Ratjada. In other words, you will not be the only newcomer, and you will not be the only foreigner.
On the pitch, Luis García's side started the season well at home, with 2-0 wins over Real Valladolid and CE Sabadell FC and a 3-0 win over AD Ceuta in their first home games.
Buying RCD Mallorca Tickets for a Single Match
For individual games the club puts tickets on sale ahead of each home fixture and announces it on its news page. The official route is the club's ticketing site at rcdmallorca.es/entradas. A few tips:
- Check kick-off times close to the date. League fixtures are confirmed a few weeks ahead, and the club publishes the date and time with each ticket release.
- Buy through the official site rather than resellers, so your seat is genuinely in the section you chose.
- Home sections are for home fans. Wear red or something neutral and you will fit right in.
- Bring the family. The club offers reduced rates by age on season tickets, and matchday crowds are very mixed.
What a Season Ticket Costs
The 2026/27 season ticket campaign ran over the summer in three phases: renewals, seat changes and new members. According to the club, there were 30 different prices depending on stand and age, and the average season ticket price across all holders came to €241, about €10 per match. The highest renewal rate, in the central West Stand, was €535, paid by just 4% of holders, while 64% paid €400 or less and 28% paid €200 or less.
For new members this season, published prices ranged from €265 in the South Stand to €830 in the West Stand. Renewals in the West Stand cost €495 to €535 for adults, €315 to €340 for over-65s and under-21s, and €190 to €200 for under-14s. The season ticket covered the 21 home games in LALIGA HYPERMOTION, home Copa del Rey ties and the Trofeu Ciutat de Palma.
If you arrive mid-season, single-match tickets are the way in. Keep an eye on the club's website in early summer for next season's campaign.
Getting to Son Moix from the Southwest
The Estadi Mallorca Son Moix is in north-western Palma, beside the Ma-20 ring road. From Santa Ponsa, Bendinat or Illetas it is a straightforward drive along the Ma-1 and onto the Ma-20, and on a weekend afternoon the run is quick. Many fans share lifts or meet friends in the surrounding neighbourhood beforehand. If you prefer not to drive, plan your public transport or taxi in advance, because everyone leaves at the same time after the final whistle.
The club describes the stadium as having undergone a comprehensive transformation in recent years, aimed squarely at the experience of supporters. Arrive early, have something to eat nearby, and you will see the ground fill around you.
Why It Matters for New Residents
Moving to an island is as much about belonging as it is about the house. For many of our clients, especially families with teenagers, a shared team gives a weekly rhythm and an easy conversation starter at school gates, padel courts and dinner tables. It also pulls you into Palma in the cooler months, when the city is at its most local.
If you are planning a move, our Santa Ponsa town guide covers daily life in the southwest, and our article on padel in southwest Mallorca covers the island's other great sporting obsession.
